
Raveesh Suresh Bannihatti of Ramakrishna Vidyashala of Mysuru has become the first rank holder in the Science stream after his marks went up to 597 post a revaluation of his English answer paper.
The results of the Second Pre-University examinations were announced on May 25. Raveesh had been awarded a total of 589. He had scored 90 marks in English but had expected 98 in the paper.
He submitted his paper for revaluation and received the 98 marks as he initially expected. This increased his total marks from 589 to 597, making him the first rank holder in the state.
In the earlier results, Rakshita Taman of VVS College in Bengaluru with 596 marks had been declared the first rank holder in the state.
