Policemen’s brave kids escape from dim-witted kidnappers

13-year-old Koushik, 12-year-old Rohan and 10-year-old Gagan reside in the police quarters near Anand Rao Circle in Bengaluru.

On Wednesday evening, the three kids stepped out of their after-school tuition classes to buy a pen and pencil from a nearby stationary shop. As the kids later narrated, a group of unidentified persons were waiting in an Omni car near the quarters.

When the boys came out of the tuition class, they were dragged into the car and driven near Kempapur, on Magadi Road.

Thankfully, the dim-witted kidnappers stopped the vehicle at some point and collectively left the car. Taking advantage of the situation, the boys immediately got out of the car and escaped.

The kids said that they approached a few locals and called their parents over the phone. With the help of these locals the boys reached Sheshadripuram Police Station, where they met their parents.

Police have recorded the statement of the boys and further investigation is ongoing.
