June 30 is the last day to submit the property details, according to the Lokayukta Act. But 101 MLAs, MLCs and ministers have not filed any document in this regard yet. This issue has been brought to the notice of the Governor Vajubhai Vala and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Obviously, this has had no effect on the peoples’ representatives so far, who have not shown any interest in submitting the document. Thus, the Lokayukta will serve notices to the representatives concerned, say sources.

The respective MLA, MLC or minister will technically get two months after the notice is served, to submit the records. So, they will have to send property details within August 30. If they fail to do so, action will be taken against them according to the Lokayukta Act, said higher officials in the Lokayukta.
