Karnataka extends deadline for CET phase-I seat allotments

Synopsis

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the first phase of the common entrance test (CET) seat allotment process to July 8.

The deadline for admission as well as fee payment has been extended until Friday.

The process for phase-II is likely to commence after July 10.

Delay in Phase II

The allotment process for phase-II is likely to be delayed as the deadline for phase-I process has been extended. Minority colleges and colleges that fall under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) scheme are yet to submit their seat matrix details.

The Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) would be renewing the college recognition grades. Also, counseling sessions for Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses are expected to commence from September.

For more information on the allotment process, students can access the KEA official website
