Kasaragod: Youth hacks parents, relatives; hangs himself
Synopsis
In a shocking incident a youth hacked five members of his family before committing suicide near Bdiyadka in Kasaragod . Ashwin Kalluraya, 22, was a IT student in Bengaluru and had reached home on Sunday morning. At the time of the incident Ashwin's father Sreehari Kalluraya, mother Latha and relatives Suguna, Vanajakshi and Suma were present at home, and none of them was spared by the attacker.
Neighbours who heard the noise and rushed to house found all five of them in pool of blood and took the victims to a private hospital in Kasaragod and then to a hospital in Mangalore.
Ashwin's body was found hanging outside the house by police later. Police suspect the youth to be mentally unstable.
