As the result of talks for over a day with Congress High Command Sonia Gandhi, Chief Minister of Karnataka has announced that the Karnataka Cabinet will be reshuffled. 13 'inefficient' ministers have been shown the door and 13 new faces will be inducted into the Cabinet.
The new ministers will take oath on Sunday at 4 pm. Legislative Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa, Ramesh Kumar, NY Gopalakrishna will be included in the ministry.
The list clarifies that the ministers who created or were part of any controversy, bringing the government a bad name, have been left out of the new list.
The list of the outgoing ministers also includes the name of Labour Minister Parameshwar Naik, who was in the news for all the wrong reasons in DySP Anupama Shenoy’s transfer and the further resignation issue. Primary Education Minister also will lose his post as his department had faced flak regarding question paper leaks.
