Karnataka minister Thimmappa collapses after hoisting flag
Synopsis
Seventy-four-year-old minister Kagodu Thimmappa was admitted to the Sahyadri Narayana Hrudyalaya hospital after he collapsed post-flag hoisting ceremony in Shivamogga
The programme was held at DAR Grounds in Shivamogga. He also delivered his 15-minutes speech on the occasion of Independence Day.
He is being treated at the hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
Kagodu Thimmappa is a Congress MLA from Sagar Constituency. Known for his pro-people and farmer struggles, people of Shivamogga hold him dear to their hearts.
