Just in time: Wife stops husband from getting hitched again!

Shankar, working for a private organisation in Manipal, began a relationship with Saraswathi from Bengaluru. Their romance began with a missed call and led to marriage in 2015 after a courtship that lasted for three years.

Sometime after that, Shankar's family, presumably in the dark about the first marriage, arranged a wedding for him with a girl from his native village.

The ever-ready groom Shankar agreed to this second match as well, and the wedding was arranged in Kota, Udupi.

Just as Shankar was about to hitch himself to a second blushing bride, in a scene right out of a film, Saraswathi barged into the marriage hall, stopping the tying of the Mangala Sutra.

After the chaos died down, Shankar was handed over to the Kota police.

As per the latest report, this filmy drama came to an end when once Shankar ‘agreed’ to live with Saraswathi.
