Govt pleader arrested in Kochi for molesting woman on busy road

Synopsis

A government pleader practising in the Kerala High Court was arrested for allegedly trying to molest a woman who walking down a busy road in the heart of Kochi. 

 

Police arrested Dhanesh Mathew, a govt. pleader on Thursday night after a woman complained that he tried to  molest her. The woman said that Mathew stalked her in his car and allegedly attacked her while she was walking down the busy Convent Road in Kochi at around 7.30 PM on Thursday. She raised an alarm and the local people chased down the man and handed him over to police. 

 

Kochi Central Police officials took the govt. pleader into custody. The cops also seized his car.
