DC Shikha case: Karnataka CM's aide absconds with his family

Synopsis

Marigowda seems to have been avoiding arrest thanks to his political connections, even 15 days after Mysore DC Shikha filed a complaint against him. The latest development has been that now his family members have also fled the city.

Marigowda has filed an appeal for bail with the High Court. But if his request is rejected, the police will be left with no choice but to arrest him. In this wake, Marigowda has locked his house at Ramakrishna Nagar in Mysore and vanished with his family members.

The Mysuru lower court has already rejected his bail plea and his family members might face an enquiry. It seems like they wish to avoid this, and have chosen to leave the city.
