Cheeky monkey steals Rs 10000 from a jewellery store

In a bizarre incident, a monkey entered a jewellery shop in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and made away with a bundle of Rs. 10,000/ in cash.

The clever monkey adopted a tricky strategy too.

First, it threw a guava into the shop. A noticed salesperson at the store noticed the fallen fruit and promptly threw it outside.

During this brief distraction, the monkey coolly sauntered to the cash drawer and made away with a bundle of Rs.10,000, while the staff and customers stared in disbelief.

One of the store’s personnel did make an attempt to retrieve the money, but the cheeky mammal did not budge and escaped with the booty.

The amusing incident has been captured on a CCTV camera at the shop.

This isn’t the only monkey menace incident reported; there have been previous complaints of monkeys targeting people and shopkeepers near markets and temples robbing people of their valuables and possessions.
