Marriage? Over my dead body!
Synopsis
To escape from the family pressure to marry, a 28-year-old man from Punjab jumped off the ninth floor of an IT campus in Bengaluru on Monday night, the police said.
Gulshan Chopra was a software professional working at Eco Space IT campus in Bellandur. When things got complicated, Chopra decided to end his life as he didn't want to marry.
The IT professional stayed with a friends at BTM layout. Gulshan had resumed work on Monday after a week-long stay at his native place in Punjab.
He stayed back late in the office to complete some pending work, Chopra's colleagues said.
A case has been registered at HSR layout police station.
