Kerala couple arrested for abandoning their 5-day-old baby

On June 2, at 8.30pm, the security staff of a church in Edapally, Kerala, found a 5-day-old baby left abandoned outside. CCTV caught the couple from Thrissur leaving the child after kissing the baby fondly. The police arrested them and found that they took this decision fearing the society may ridicule them for having a fourth child.
