Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dinesh Gundu Rao accused the state BJP of offering Rs 25 to Rs 30 crore to each Congress MLA to crossover to the saffron party. He also said that the BJP would need up to Rs 200 to 300 crore to carry out 'Operation Kamala' (Operation Lotus) and questioned from where they would get so much money.
Reacting to this, former deputy chief minister and BJP leader R Ashoka said that their party is not in contact with the Congress MLAs and also said that those legislators are not happy with the way the coalition government is running in the state. He further said that the coalition government would not last long as the Congress-JD(S) MLAs are not happy with it.
