Bengaluru: Aero India 2019 took off on Wednesday in great style, but the mishap during Tuesday’s rehearsal was not forgotten. Union minister Sadananda Gowda offered his condolence to the Surya Kiran team, who mourn the loss of wing commander Sahil Gandhi.
Speaking to Newsable, Union minister Sadananda Gowda called the incident “tragic” and expressed his sadness over the unfortunate event that took place a day before the Aero show.
The two aircraft collided mid-air while flying in the mirror image formation on Tuesday.
