The relationship between India and Emirates Airline has been there for the past 31 years. They launched their first flights from Delhi and Mumbai back in 1985. Currently, Emirates have more than 10,000 Indian nationals working for them at several departments. This number is almost 21% of the entire team of Emirates and that is simply fascinating.
The Indian employees also feature in this video where they wished their nation on the occasion of the 68th Republic Day on Thursday.
Along with Emirates, Burj Khalifa also lit up in Indian tri-colours in the evening on Thursday as well. This was to mark the new relationship between India and UAE as the crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan was invited as the chief guest of the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on Thursday.
