Have you checked out this Gold Rolls Royce taxi in Kerala?

Synopsis

Travel in a Roll Royce and get a 3-day resort stay at just Rs 25,000 in Kerala. Twitter goes crazy over the gold cab.

Bengaluru: Owning a Rolls Royce is a dream for many in India! While there are many Rolls Royce cars in India and many of them are available on rent, they remain out of budget for many. However, Rolls Royce Phantom is being used as a taxi in Kerala.

Sounds bizarre, right? Well, it is true.

Here is a Rolls Royce Phantom VII wrapped in gold. It is a taxi and it is the most expensive vehicle that can be hired as a taxi in Kerala. And Twitter is going berserk over it.

The Rolls Royce Phantom VII LWB here belongs to Boby Chemannur, who is a businessman in Kerala. The new Rolls Royce Phantom VII was bought by him last year for the Oxygen Resorts. Boby said that this Rolls Royce Phantom VII can cost up to Rs 12 crore, but he bought it through an auction, which allowed him to buy the car at a cheaper price.

The current-generation of Rolls-Royce Phantom is priced in India at Rs 9.5 crore (ex-showroom price). The gold car is part of a package at the Oxygen Resorts in Kerala.

This Phantom VII LWB is available to the customers as a part of the package. The price of the package is Rs 25,000 only. For the price, the Rolls Royce is available for 300 km and it includes a stay of 2-3 days at their Oxygen Resorts.

Sirish Chandran, a Twitter user, shared the picture of a gold older-generation Roll-Royce Phantom (with a taxi sticker and a yellow number plate) being carried on a truck with the caption, "This is real."

As soon as the picture went viral on Twitter, netizens went wild and the thread was filled with amazement.
