Young cinematographer drowns in pond while swimming

Young cinematographer Vishnu Vijayarajan drowned in the pond He used to go to the pond regularly for swimming He had gone there all alone on the fateful day

Cinematographer Vishnu Vijayarajan was found dead in Manissery, Ottappalam on Monday. The 23-year-old is suspected to have drowned in a pond where he used to go for swimming.

The young talent got noticed after the films 'Randayirathi Painezhile Oru Kinavu' and 'Onnam Bhagam.' Both films were produced by a friends collective called 'Naked Studio' based at Kaniyampuram. 

A song 'Cheetha pennu' from the first movie which featured yesteryear artist Rajalakshmi Amma was much noticed on social media.

As per reports, Vishnu regularly used to go to the pond for swimming along with his friends. However, he was alone on the fateful day. 

The incident came to light only when local people noticed his clothes and a bag on the banks and started the search operation. They soon recovered the body. 

He was staying with his parents Sobha and Vijayarajan at Ottapalam. His elder brother Sarath too had passed away at the age of 23, five years ago, in a bike accident.
