Solar scam: Biju Radhakrishnan demands case against MLA Ganesh Kumar

Biju Radhakrishnan pointed out that a case has to be taken against Ganesh Kumar in connection with the solar scam “I have evidence against Ganesh Kumar including CDs and I am ready to hand it over this to the investigation team"

Biju Radhakrishnan, the first accused in the solar scam, has said that Pathanapuram MLA and former minister KB Ganesh Kumar should also be made an accused in the case.

Biju pointed out that a case has to be taken against Ganesh Kumar in connection with the solar scam. He said this on Thursday when he was produced at the Perinthalmanna court in connection with another case.

“I have evidence against Ganesh Kumar including CDs and I am ready to hand it over this to the investigation team," Biju told mediapersons outside the court.

Biju also alleged that the previous UDF government, under Oommen Chandy, made him a scapegoat in the solar scam, while he was also made an accused in a case relating to his former wife Reshmi’s death.

Based on the legal opinion that the state government received in the solar scam judicial probe report, CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday said criminal, corruption and even sexual assault case against Chandy, former ministers Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Aryadan Mohammed, Adoor Prakash and AP Anil Kumar would be registered.
