UDF activists are not happy with the decision taken by the party leaders in handing over the Rajya Sabha seats to Kerala Congress.
Protesting against the allotment of Rajya Sabha seats to Kerala Congress (M), unidentified people kept a wreath on symbolic coffins that had photographs of former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala.
The DCC office too had posters against Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala. The content of the poster suggested that Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy are the unwanted leaders of the Congress party.
Another poster portrayed that the leaders are considered dead in the minds of these activists.

There is speculation whether the UDF leaders are planning to move into Kerala Congress because they are supporting the latter more than needed. There are chances for the UDF activists to move from the party to another party or perhaps form another party together.
