Actress attack: Director Nadirshah appears before police for questioning

Director Nadirshah has appeared for questioning before the Special Investigating Team (SIT) at the Aluva police club on Friday, in connection with the Kochi actress attack case.

Nadirshah arrived at the police club at 10 am after the High Court asked him to do so in an order on Wednesday.

The police said that they would decide on whether to make Nadirshah an accused after the questioning is complete. The High Court has prevented the director's arrest till the hearing of his anticipatory bail plea, which is set for September 18.

The probe team claims that Nadirshah had lied to them regarding certain incidents when they questioned him and Dileep in a marathon 13-hour grilling, days before the latter's arrest on July 10. It is understood that Nadirshah knew about Dileep and Pulsar Suni's acquaintance.

Meanwhile, Dileep filed his bail application at the Angamaly court on Thursday. The actor has had three previous bail pleas rejected by the High Court and the Angamaly court.
