In yet another blow to the Kerala state education ministry, majority of the questions in the recent Plus One geography examination have been found to have been lifted straight from a model paper.
In what is clearly another case of mismanagement of public examinations, questions worth 43 marks - out of the total 60 - were found to have been copied from the question paper of a model examination held at schools in the capital.
The geography exam, which has come under the scanner, was held on March 21, with questions set by the LDF-backed Kerala School Teachers Association (KSTA).
The incident comes just two days after the education department quashed the SSLC mathematics exam and ordered a re-examination after it was found that several questions were copied from a model paper prepared by a private institution.
