Newlywed Kerala woman found dead at CRPF quarters in TVM

The victim has been identified as Anu, 24, who hails from Payyoli in Kozhikode She was married to CRPF camp driver Sharath Babu, who found her hanging at the staff quarters  Anu's family has submitted petitions to the Chief Minister, alleging that she was suffering physical and mental torture

A woman, who was recently married, was found dead at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) quarters in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. 

The victim has been identified as Anu, 24, who hails from Payyoli in Kozhikode. She was married to CRPF camp driver Sharath Babu, who found her hanging at the staff quarters at Pallipuram on Sunday morning.

Though Anu was rushed to the CRPF hospital and later to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, she could not be saved. The couple got married a month ago and had been living at the quarters for a week.

The police have registered a case of unnatural death and started a probe into the incident. It is understood that a suicide note has been recovered from her.

Meanwhile, Anu's family has submitted petitions to the Chief Minister, police chief and the Mangalapuram sub-inspector, alleging that she was suffering physical and mental torture.
