Nanthancode murder: Cadell tried to poison family members before killing them

Synopsis

Cadell revealed that he tried to killed his family members by giving poison He mixed poison and insecticide in the food of his family members However, they survived the attempt and suffered only diarrhoea and vomiting

In a fresh revelation in Nanthancode murder, main accused Cadell Jeansen Raja told police that he tried to poison his family, before killing them. The investigation officers confirmed that his statement was true. 

Though Cadell tried to kill his family members they suffered only diarrhoea and vomiting after consuming poison. They thought the issue was due to food poisoning and took treatment at the hospital.

Cadell had purchased poison from Krishi Kendra in Thiruvananthapuram. He mixed rat poison and insecticide in the food of his family members. 

The police took him to the shop for evidence collection, and the staff identified him. Cadell will be taken to Chennai on Sunday as part of evidence collection as he stayed in a hotel there after committing murder. 

The youth had murdered his mother, father, sister and aunty and tried to burn their bodies.
