Kerala police have ordered an inquiry against a woman police constable after she forwarded a message mocking the state government on a WhatsApp group. The message blamed the Left Democratic Front government for the fever-related deaths in the state.

The forwarded message, a parody of a government advertisement on its first anniversary had a smiling face of the Chief Minister. The message was sent to a WhatsApp group of women cops in Thiruvananthapuram. 

City Police Commissioner ordered an inquiry, and the cyber cell collected evidence including phone number. As per preliminary evidence, the constable had just forwarded the message which she received from some other person.

Kerala Government had prohibited its employees from propagating campaigns against their state and had recently asked its employees to be careful while sharing contents on social media.
