CPM not happy with Mukesh's response to media persons at AMMA press meet

CPM leadership has come up against actor Mukesh, who is also an MLA from Kollam, after his harsh reaction to media persons during the press meet of Association of Malayalam Movie Actors (AMMA). CPM

Kollam district committee expressed displeasure over his response and is likely to raise the issue at the committee meeting. Sources close to party also revealed that the district committee is likely to seek an explanation from the actor turned politician.

The press meet of AMMA, after general body meeting, saw high drama as some office bearers, who also happens to be politicians, expressed displeasure to media persons when they raised questions on actress abduction.

Mukesh asked reporters to stop asking unnecessary questions. In a heated reaction to questions from media persons, Mukesh rose from his seat and asked whether you can't see that Dileep is sitting with us. 

The AMMA office bearers unequivocally maintained the stance that the police investigation is in right direction and that the association will stand with Dileep and the actress. They also said that Women in Cinema Collective, the organisation of women technicians and actors in Malayalam industry, and AMMA stood united.
