When Mohanlal cycled around Thiruvananthapuram city

After taking ride around Statue Junction, Mohanlal passed through MG Road Newspaper agents and early commuters were shocked to find the superstar on a cycle

For a long time, Mohanlal had wanted to roam around Thiruvananthapuram city on a cycle - something which he used to do before he became a mainstream actor. 

And at 4.30 am on Tuesday, before the city woke up and the roads became crowded, the actor fulfilled that wish.  

After taking ride around Statue Junction, Mohanlal passed through MG Road and also stopped in front of Indian Cofee House for a bit.

Newspaper agents and early commuters were shocked to find the superstar roaming the city on a cycle. Mohanlal smiled and waved at them, before leaving for Kochi around 5 am. 

The veteran actor had expressed his wish to cycle around his hometown during a conversation with his friends, and one of them - Sanal Kumar - made the arrangements on Tuesday.

A few of his friends accompanied Mohanlal in the cycle ride. Renowned photographer Jithesh Damodar captured the images.

Mohanlal was in the city to shoot his upcoming big-budget film 'Villain', directed by B Unnikrishnan.
