Manju Warrier to debut in Tamil with an action thriller

Tamil director Arivazhagan, a former assistant to Shankar, confirmed that Manju Warrier has given nod for his next project. However, the actress is yet to officially sign the agreement. 

Arivazhagan is famous for his sensible films like Kuttram 23 and Eeram. He is now back with a woman-centric action thriller.

"It's an action thriller. I couldn't think of anyone but Manju. I felt she could do justice after watching her Malayalam movies," he said. 

The director also said that the actress was impressed by the script. "She liked the narration and expressed faith in the project. We are yet to finalise rest of the cast. Thaman will compose music," he said. 

The project is likely to start by August.
