KM Johnson, 78, a native of Kadappakada near Kollam, jumped off from the seventh floor of the building and died on the spot.

Johnson entered the building after informing the security guard that he wanted to meet an advocate, before climbing all the way up to the seventh floor. 

Several onlookers tried to dissuade Johnson after spotting him walking on the parapet but failed to talk him down from taking the extreme step.

More details are awaited on the incident as the reason he decided to end his life at the court premises is not known yet.
