The police questioned director Nadhirshah's brother Samad at the Aluva police club on Saturday in connection with the Kochi actress attack case.

Samad was summoned to the police club on Saturday afternoon and quizzed by a team led by investigation officer and Perumbavoor CI Baiju K Paulose. Samad, who is also a singer, was present at several stage shows and some of the films associated with Nadhirshah and Dileep.

Both Nadhirshah and Dileep had undergone a marathon 13-hour grilling at the police club on June 28, before the latter was arrested on charges of conspiracy and remanded to judicial custody.

The police had questioned several persons, including people from the film industry, in the last few days, and it is now understood that the investigation is moving towards its climax. Two more arrests are expected, according to reports.
