Kerala police have seized the van used by Pulsar Suni and his gang for abducting an actress in 2011. The vehicle was recovered from Madavana in Kochi.

Earlier there were reports that the van was taken to Coimbatore and destroyed. "The gang had hired the van for one day. As the abduction attempt failed, they returned the van to its owner. We have seized the vehicle and will produce it before the court," Ernakulam Central CI A Ananthalal said.

Pulsar Suni hired the van from a Kakkanad native in 2011. It was later sold to another person.

The abduction attempt took place in 2011, and the police recently registered a case based on a complaint by producer Johny Sagarika. The gang had planned to abduct a young actress, but she changed her travel plan at the last moment. Unaware of this the gang mistakenly took another actress from the railway station.
