
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has been admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai for a medical check-up after he complained of physical discomforts.
The 73-year-old was admitted to the hospital at Greams Road at 11.55 pm on Friday for "routine annual medical check-up", a hospital bulletin said.
According to the Chief Minister's Office in Thiruvananthapuram, Pinarayi is scheduled to be discharged on Sunday evening.
The hospital said the CM was admitted under a urologist and his check-ups were still going on. His exact ailment has not been made public yet.
