A recent comment by the actress made her all the more famous. She introduced herself as Dulquer Salmaan's 'ex-girlfriend'. The artist made the comment after audience members apparently failed to recognise her during stage shows she is attending along with her singer sister.
Incidentally, what Abhirami was referring to was her role in the movie '100 Days of Love' where she played the role of an ex-girlfriend of Dulquer Salmaan. The teen actress was seen in a negative role, as the former girlfriend of Dulquer while Nitya Menon played the lead.
Abhirami also acted in two Tamil movies, one of which is Kubera Rashi.
