The actor who is riding high on the success with the appreciation received to his latest releases Solo said he wants to do diverse roles in Bollywood. He feels that language barrier is restricting Bollywood stars from acting in regional language films.
He feels that working in Malayalam and Hindi cinema are different. However, he does not want to play the role of a Kerala guy in Mumbai.
When asked about nepotism, Dulquer, who is the son of Megastar Mammootty, said that he doesn't feel entitled to his father's legacy. "No one knew that I was
Mammootty's son for the most of my life. My sister and I were brought up away from the fame. His connection did help me with my debut, but everything after that is the result of my hard work." the actor said.
He also said that usually, second generation actors were never successful in Malayalam industry.
