Dileep to continue in jail till August 22

Remand period was extended for two weeks till August 22 This is the second time he is appearing before court through video conferencing The police made the request as they were having a tough time controlling the hostile crowd

Angamaly Judicial First Class Magistrate Court extended Dileep's remand period for two weeks. The actor will remain in jail till August 22. 

He appeared before the court through video conferencing. 

This is the second time that the actor is presented before court through video conferencing.

The police had made the request stating security concerns after intelligence report that the fans might take law into their hands if they happen to see the actor.

Further, the police were having a tough time controlling the hostile crowd. 

There were reports that the actor is facing health issues but the officials have denied such reports. 

Meanwhile, the actor has changed his lawyer and is likely to move High Court requesting bail citing change in situations after his last petition was denied.
