Dileep's mother, who visited her son in jail the other day, has now written to the Chief Minister that the actor is innocent. She has asked the Chief Minister to interfere in the matter.
As per reports, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has handed over the letter to the DGP. The letter was submitted two days back, and the actor's mother alleged that someone deliberately tried to trap her son.

This is the second letter received by the CM in the case. Assaulted actress too had written CM demanding intervention following insulting comments made by P C George MLA.

Responding to the complaint filed by actress, MLA said that someone cannot be named victim just because she gave a complaint and that he believes that Dileep is innocent.
Dileep's mother had visited him last week after High Court postponed his second bail plea for August 18.
