Dileep had been arrested for conspiracy in actress attack case Director Baiju Kottarakkara alleged that a woman told that Dileep had hands in Mani's death Now, Mani's family alleges that the dispute between Dileep and Mani resulted in latter's death

After being arrested in actress attack case, Dileep is now facing fresh allegations. He is now being linked to the death of Kalabhavan Mani too. 

The late actor's family and director Baiju Kottarakkara alleged that Dileep was involved in Mani's death. It was director Baiju Kottarakkara who first claimed that the actor was involved in the death and now the family of the late actor also seems to share same views. Mani's brother RLV Ramakrishnan feels that the police did not conduct a satisfactory investigation.

The director had claimed that a woman, a Kozhikode native, had called him and revealed information about Mani's death. He also states that the woman said that she got proof of various deals between Mani and Dileep, which led to a dispute between both and that she claimed that this might have led to the death.

The director made the revelation during a television programme and following this CBI, which is probing Mani's death, recorded his statement, some reports claimed.
