Dileep's D Cinemaas to remain shut till the Vigilance probe is over

The special council of Chalakkudy Municipality has decided to cancel the license of D Cinemaas, the theatre complex of actor Dileep, who was arrested in actress attack case.

The council took a unanimous decision to cancel the free hold right of the complex after an inquiry was launched into the allegations of encroachment.

On inquiry, it was found that the actor had procured the documents illegally. He was accused of the encroachment of government land and irregularities in obtaining documents from government offices.

As per reports, the theatre complex will be shut down till the completion of vigilance probe on the property is completed. However, there are rumours that some of the councils were of the opinion that sanction need not be granted even later. 

Thrissur Vigilance court had ordered an inquiry into the possession and ownership of land after a public interest litigation was filed in this regard.
