Kerala High Court denies bail to Dileep

Synopsis

Kerala High Court has denied bail to Dileep

Kerala High Cout has denied bail to actor Dileep in actress attack case. This is the third time his application is being rejected.

The court accepted prosecution argument that the actor is likely to tamper evidence and influence witnesses if allowed to get out of jail.

The single bench accepted the arguments put forward by the prosecution.

The actor had been arrested on July 10 and had been remanded in custody for allegedly being part of the conspiracy to attack the actress on February 17 in a moving car.

This is the second time he had been approaching High Court. The first bail plea was rejected stating that the actor is likely to temper evidence and influence witnesses.

Further, the court also accepted the argument that the mobile phone and memory card, the crucial pieces of evidence in the actress attack case were yet to be recovered.

Earlier, Angamaly Magistrate Court too had rejected the bail petition of the actor.
