Actor Dileep, who was arrested in connection with the actress attack case, shares his cell in the Aluva sub-jail with five other prisoners, including thugs and history-sheeters.

Dileep was arrested on conspiracy charges on Monday evening and was remanded to two weeks' judicial custody on Tuesday morning.

Though Dileep requested for a special cell and added facilities, the jail authorities denied him such a privilege. The actor was given a regular cell, where he had five other inmates - including extortionists and history-sheeters - for company.

Earlier today, the actor's counsel had requested the magistrate not to send him to judicial custody but the plea was rejected. He was seen breaking down and hugging his brother Anoop before the police shifted him to the jail.

Dileep is likely to be named second accused in the case when the police submits a revised charge sheet on Wednesday. The actor is currently named as 11th accused. Pulsar Suni remains the first accused.

Dileep is accused of conspiracy behind the abduction and assault of the actress. Apart from conspiracy (120B), Dileep will also be charged with abduction (366) and gangrape (376), which were levelled against Suni.
