Air India Express has decided to operate additional flights to clear the heavy rush during Bakrid and Onam. The low-cost national carrier of India is planning to operate 46 additional flights to Gulf area to help travellers during festival season.
A majority of additional flights will fly to specific locations from Kerala airports. Of the 46 services, 44 will fly between Sharjah, Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and New Delhi and back while two of them will operate between Riyadh and Kozhikode.
As many as 40 flights will be to Sharjah and back and of them, 16 will be from Thiruvananthapuram, 6 from Kochi and 14 from Kozhikode.
