In another shocking incident of sexual assault reported from Kerala, a 63-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men at Adoor in Pathanamthitta on Sunday.
The woman told Asianet News that three men barged into the house in the wee hours of Sunday and raped her. She sustained several injuries and is currently under treatment at a hospital in Adoor.
The woman lived alone at her residence after being separated from her husband.
The police have filed a case and started the investigation. The woman said that she would be able to identify all three men.
In a similar crime earlier this year, a 90-year-old woman was attacked by a man who broke into her house at Mavelikara in Alappuzha.
