Rainfall is expected to be particularly heavy on Thursday (Dec 12) and Friday (Dec 13). As a result, an orange alert has been issued for three districts—Idduki, Ernakulam, and Thrissur—for Thursday. Additionally, yellow alerts have been declared for the districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad on Thursday.
