Panchayat Development Officer Akkamahadevi of Gadag was caught red-handed while taking bribe to approve the Records of Rights, Tenancy and Crops (RTC). The incident occurred at Mundaragi Taluk in Gadag, Karnataka, and was captured on the mobile phone and is being circulated widely on social media. It is heard that Akkamahadevi charged Rs 4,000 extra for signing two RTCs belonging to Girish Purada.
