Why was Gauri Lankesh murder accused Vaghmore called Virat Kohli?

Parashuram Vaghmore, the murder accused of  journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh, was also known as Virat Kohli.

According to sources, Vaghmore was an active cricket player and was an all-rounder in the Vaghmore Cricket Team. He played like Kohli and the way he played too was apparently similar to Kohli's shots. Thus as he entered the ground, he was cheered as Virat Kohli.

In fact, Vaghmore had led the Sindhagi Warriers team in the Sindhagi IPL tournament, Karnataka. He led the team to victory with his batting and bowling skills.

But sadly, Vaghmore was not only a sure shot in the cricket field, but also outside the field as the SIT has confirmed that Vaghmore has played a vital role in shooting Gauri Lankesh down in front of her house on September 5 in 2017 in Bengaluru.
