What’s wrong in women massaging men asks High Court

The Therapy Centres owners of Mangaluru had filed a write petition to HCt questioning the cancellation of licences. HC pulls up for alleging illegal activities in Ayurveda, Panchakarma therapy centres without proof. Justice Aravind Kumar expressed his dissatisfaction at the hurried action by corporation. The response by the therapy centre owners must be heard before taking any action.

The High Court asked this question to Mangaluru Corporation. The Therapy Centres owners of Mangaluru had filed a write petition to High Court questioning the cancellation of licences to Ayurveda, Panchakarma therapy centres alleging illegal activities.

On Wednesday the High Court took up the case for hearing and said the action by the corporation cancelling the license without assigning any reason or evidences is incorrect. In case illegal activities are being conducted in the therapy centres then appropriate legal action must be taken and not a blanket cancellation of licences HC said, reported Kannada Prabha.

The corporation must first issue a showcause notice and only if a satisfactory answer is not provided it can act. Justice Aravind Kumar expressed his dissatisfaction at the hurried action by corporation. HC said a new show cause notice must be issued to therapy centres.  The response by the therapy centre owners must be heard before taking any action, the HC said.
