Uppi’s Prajakiya attracts 15,000 e-mails and 45,000 likes in one day

Upendra’s announcement of new Party Prajakiya has attracted 15,000 e mails and 45,000 likes. Enthusiastic response from the grassroot level rural folks to academic elites from New York University. Actor Shivarajkumar said Uppi is very intelligent and is suitable for politics.  Legislator Zamir Ahmed however gave a cold response saying many like him are sidelined in politics.    

Upendra’s announcement of new party Prajakiya has attracted 15,000 e mails and 45,000 likes for his Nimma Upendra social network page in one day, not only from the State but globally.  From the grassroot level rural folks to academic elites from New York University, US, Germany, Dubai and other places people have responded enthusiastically, reported Kannada Prabha.

There has been berserk of suggestions, advices regarding politics, social issues, resolutions etc from people. Actor Shivarajkumar said “Uppi is very intelligent and is suitable for politics”  He has he is happy that Upendra has decided to plunge into politics, he is most suitable for politics and is a good orator. He wished him the best. He said people should now realise what kind of representatives they want in governance.

Legislator Zamir Ahmed however gave a cold response saying Upendra is changing his profession as his film career is coming to an end. He said gimmicks that work in films do not work in politics. If he is concerned about the poor let him distribute his wealth to the poor. “ Many like him are sidelined in politics” he said.

Meanwhile, Upendra is happy about the response. “I have happily received the responses. An IT company has offered to segregate the responses,” he said.
