Overwhelming response to Upendra's 'Prajakiya', 30k mails received

Actor Upendra’s announcement of new political party has attracted 30,000 mails in 3 days Advising him on various aspects of running a political outfit, supporting and encouraging him   Over 600 couriers have been received at the office offering to join his party 

Actor Upendra’s announcement of new political party has attracted 30,000 mails in three days and still counting. Large number of people from across the globe have welcomed his new party  - Prajakiya - and expressed desire to join it, reports Kannada Prabha.

People have appreciated him for launching a political party and have promised their support and assistance. Many of them have volunteered to work in his party. From the past three days, ever since he made the announcement, emails from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and overseas are pouring in. Upendra’s four assistants are classifying the mails. Over 600 couriers have been received at the office, said Sriram, close associate of Upendra to Kannada Prabha.

Upendra’s message for Independence Day said “Independence means freedom. Our country has got freedom but we have to liberate ourselves from distrust, lethargy and suspicion. Prajakiya Party will be free of money, muscle and caste restrictions. Party is to take a birth. Idea Ok but…  many say. Leave out the ‘but’. There are no 'but's but only definite yes, it will happen. Let us believe. Belief is power. Belief is strength. Belief is life,” reports Kannada Prabha.
