When BJP insulted Sharath Madival, the man they glorified once

Synopsis

The BJP leaders of Udupi district organised an emotional protest against the killing of RSS member Prashanth Madival The Udupi BJP group has allegedly written Prashanth Madival instead of Sharath Madival in the protest poster The group is being trolled in the social media for not getting the name of the person they are supporting, correct

The BJP leaders of Udupi district organised an emotional protest against the killing of RSS member Prashanth Madival. Confused? Wondering who Prashanth Madival is? There is no such person who was killed, so was Udupi BJP protesting against a ghost name?

The Mangalore (Kalladka) tension is still fresh in mind. The name of Sharath Madival too is as fresh as a memory as the violence in Kalladka. Yes, the Udupi BJP was referring to Sharath Madival but just a small mistake in the print in the poster they carried made it look like Prashanth Madivala.

What justification can the people who were staging protest showcasing the banner with the wrong name give for this blunder? Were they just keen on the name Madival as it depicted his caste and did not really bother about the man?

They staged a protest demanding the resignation of District in-Charge Minister Ramanath Rai and a ban on PFI and KFD organisations, which are allegedly behind the killing of Sharath Madival.

While claiming that they care for every life that supports the right wing ideology and stage a protest, they did not even fact check the name of the person for whom they are fighting. Isn't this a way of insulting the person the protesters are trying to portray as a martyr?

Meanwhile, the Bantwal second JMFC Court has extended the judicial custody of PFI activists who were arrested on Wednesday (August 16) in connection with Sharath Madival murder case. Thus Riyaz from Belthangady, Siddique from Nelyadi and Kaleem of Chamarajanagar have been handed over to the judicial custody for 15 days.

In addition, Shafi of Haladi and Khaleel of Chamarajanagar are being questioned the by the police in the Sharath Case.
