The cyber crime police have found another ATM with skimming device attached and suspect that another gang is active in the City, reports Kannada Prabha.

Just recently the Cyber Crime Police had arrested two from UK who were fixing skimming devices at ATMs and stealing money through US accounts. The devices, specially made by the culprits were seized. However, the police have found a similar skimming device attached to the Canara Bank ATM on MG Road. Canara Bank officer Shwetha has lodged a complaint with the police on Oct 7 after a customer noticed gum and scratch marks on the device and alerted the bank. Technical staff inspected and found that a skimmer was fixed to the ATM.

A case has been booked and the police are scrutinising the CCTV footage, said the police.
